Free access to Merriam-Webster Unabridged dictionary

As I was helping my daughter find some definitions for words in her novel for school, I found out that, if you are willing to look at an ad, you can access the Merriam-Webster Unabridged dictionary for free with a “day-pass”. This includes illustrations and pronunciation sound clips. You also get access to their Collegiate Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia, as well as their Medical Dictionary, Spanish-English, French-English dictionaries, Atlas, and Style Guide. Now I just wish the OED would follow suit. They charge $295 a year! You can still look up words in the pocket OED though.
